trip highlights

LOURY X SELAR

For over 10 years, Loury Lag has embarked on extreme solo expeditions in the most hostile areas of the planet. The Amazon, deserts, oceans, the Arctic—he is as capable of surviving in extreme heat as in extreme cold.

In 2023, he undertakes "Arctic Mission," crossing the Northwest Passage on a ski-kite. 77 days on the ice, facing wolves, bears, extreme winds, and storms. For him, confronting nature is a way to truly feel alive and to build himself as a man and as a father.

THE ARCTIC, LIVED AND SHARED

This expedition is, above all, an invitation to discover the Arctic at its most beautiful moment: spring. When Svalbard comes alive, wildlife returns, the ice is still vast, and the light transforms everything.

You’ll experience it through the eyes of two explorers, Loury Lag and Mathieu Blanchard, who have lived some of their most defining moments here, and now share a more accessible way to explore it.

For those who wish to go further, there is the option to push the experience, including a night in bivouac in polar bear territory. But this remains optional. The journey is flexible, with many ways to experience the Arctic, at your own pace.

Each day brings a different way to discover the region: observing walruses, seals, and Arctic foxes, walking across glaciers, or simply taking in the shifting light as the first days of the polar season begin and the sun lingers longer on the horizon.

LOURY'S WORD

"Stepping into the Arctic is, first of all, about opening yourself to something different. You’ll move through raw landscapes, feel the elements, and reconnect with what really matters.

This expedition is a chance to experience the Arctic in a simple, honest way, to learn, to share, and to explore alongside others. Some moments might take you out of your comfort zone, but always with the choice, and always with the right support.

What stays with you is not how far you pushed, but what you felt, what you saw, and the people you shared it with.

The Arctic has its own rhythm. The real adventure is learning how to move with it."
