trip highlights

LOURY X SELAR

For over 10 years, Loury Lag has embarked on extreme solo expeditions in the most hostile areas of the planet. The Amazon, deserts, oceans, the Arctic—he is as capable of surviving in extreme heat as in extreme cold.

In 2023, he undertakes "Arctic Mission," crossing the Northwest Passage on a ski-kite. 77 days on the ice, facing wolves, bears, extreme winds, and storms. For him, confronting nature is a way to truly feel alive and to build himself as a man and as a father.

THE CONCEPT: A GATEWAY TO EXPLORATION

What we offer here is the chance to embark on a purist mini-expedition alongside him and experience a part of "Arctic Mission." A unique experience that could transform you for life.

After a few training days, you'll be dropped off in the field for 2 days and 2 nights of survival, guided by Loury in small groups, until you return to Selar's vessel to celebrate this unique accomplishment together.

THE DROP OFF

The ship will drop you off at point A, with no possibility of turning back. The adventure begins here for a small group at a time—grab your sticks and push forward with your pulka! See you at point B, the finish line, in 2 days.

Trekking into the Unknown

Ready your watches, compasses, and most importantly, your sense of direction. As a team, you'll need to navigate and cross this vast white desert together.

SET UP YOUR CAMP

Find the perfect spot to spend the night bivouacking with your group. The Svalbard is bear territory, so you'll need to keep watch.

RECHARGE YOUR ENERGY

Setting up a stove at -20°C is no easy task. This well-earned hot freeze-dried meal will surely revive your spirits and give you the boost you need.

MASTER THE COLD

This environment is among the most hostile on the planet, but with your mindset, your team, and Loury's guidance, you’ll conquer the cold and emerge stronger.

POLAR BEAR WATCH

Two nights in the Arctic wild, where nature sets the rules. On a voluntary rotating watch, stand guard under the endless sky. More than security, this is a moment of pure connection—a silent dialogue with the raw power of nature.

KEEP PUSHING

Your journey will end when you return to Selar's vessel after 2 days exploring the Svalbard and your inner self. Your ultimate reward: savor this accomplishment.

A PROGRESSIVE JOURNEY

This unprecedented expedition offers a progressive journey that begins with hands-on survival training. You’ll attend workshops and conferences led by Loury, learning the essentials of survival, while stepping out on initial outings to acclimate to the cold, local wildlife, and face your first challenges, like glacier hiking. The experience then shifts to a 48-hour survival journey in small teams, with only your pulka and tent, guided by Loury and other experienced guides.

This is an opportunity to push your limits and bond with your team in the heart of the Arctic.
